His expertise makes him the perfect advocate to explore BoxLang, a modern, CFML-compatible programming language.

Raymond Camden is a developer evangelist, married father of eight, and passionate about making web development more accessible to developers of all levels. He lives in Lafayette, Louisiana, and spends much of his time writing, researching, and presenting. With over 6,600 blog posts and numerous conference speaking engagements under his belt, Raymond has become a well-known and trusted voice in the developer world.
When Raymond isn’t behind a computer, you’ll find him enjoying Xbox/PlayStation games, watching movies, and reading. He’s also a Star Wars nerd — but that’s a secret he’s not too keen on sharing publicly!

Although he hasn’t worked extensively with Java, he was immediately drawn to BoxLang because of its developer-friendly syntax, seamless JVM integration, and focus on simplicity and modern web development practices.
